Mineral County Historical Foundation

The mission of the Mineral County Historical Foundation is to own and restore historical properties; to provide a repository for Mineral County historical documents and artifacts; to serve as an educational resource for future generations and to provide or assist in obtaining financing for the purpose of preserving any and all historical landmarks, oral and written histories and historical items and artifacts.

The Mineral County Historical Foundation is a Non-Profit (501C(3) IRS designated) organization located in the Potomac Highlands of West Virginia.

The Stone House, located near Burlington, is also undergoing restoration.  Both structures are owned by the Foundation.

The Carskadon Mansion in Keyser, WV is a current restoration project
